
MEA highlights corporate achievement to be awarded the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) of the government sector’s operations at AA Level for two consecutive years
The Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) announced the results of the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) of the government sector’s operations for the fiscal year 2022 on August 1, 2022 in which the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) has received 95.80 points, equivalent to AA (Excellence) level. The result has been regarded as a successful performance of MEA under CHANGE G : Governance values - Transparency and Nobility - for two consecutive years (2021-2022). Overall, 8,303 government agencies participated in the project. It has been considered a recognition for MEA as an honor, pride, and morale booster for the executives and employees of MEA, a state enterprise under the Ministry of Interior whose commitment focuses on operations with integrity, transparency, fairness, and role model behavior while promoting a culture that counteracts corruption. MEA has carried out duties with integrity, transparency, and commitment to deliver quality services to electricity users. MEA wishes to thank everyone for their cooperation in answering the external integrity and transparency (EIT) assessment questions and the internal integrity and transparency (ITA) assessment questions.
