MEA promotes skills endorsements for professional electricians

7 May 2019 229
Mr. Jumpote Himacharoen, Assistant Director of Social and Environmental Affairs of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), presided over a ceremony to present certificates to electricians who have passed the national training and skills testing for inside wiremen level 1, class 1, for 2019. The objective of this training program was to generate occupations for the public and to build a network for MEA to prevent electrical risks and hazards in the communities at the Metropolitan Electricity Authority Ploenchit Office on April 25, 2019.

MEA always realizes the importance of those who make a living as professional electricians where they need electrical skills and knowledge in order to prevent risks and hazards which may occur during operations. MEA wishes to see the participants will be able to fully utilize their knowledge and skills, endorsed as standard electricians in accordance with the Skill Development Promotion Act (No. 2) B.E. 2557, in carrying out their work properly and legally.
