In order to prevent fire during long holidays, Mr. Chan Patamawipak, MEA Corporate Communications Director said that, before leaving home, please make sure your electrical equipment is in good condition, switch off lights and unplug any appliances that are not in use. Always check power cords and plugs, if any damage is found, fix it immediately. Check the surrounding trees of your home to ensure they do not rub against power lines to avoid outages and damage to your electrical systems. If your body is wet, avoid touching electrical equipment to prevent danger from electric shock.
In case of emergency or electrical hazards, please notify through power failure function in the MEA Smart Life Application or contact MEA Call Center at 1130, anytime around the clock.
