The Metropolitan Electricity Authority will open on Friday, April 7, 2017, between 07.30 and 15.00. On weekends, the electricity bills can be paid at all payment agents, such as Counter Service, Tesco Lotus Department Store and Big C department store or paid through MEA Smart Life Application by credit card: Master Card and Visa Card. Customers can download the application at App Store and Google play. Before leaving home, please ensure your electrical equipment is in a safe condition. Turn off lights and unplug appliances when they are not in use. Check power cords and plugs. If any damage is found, it is recommended to fix it without delay to prevent potential fire risk. Prune trees to ensure they do not rub against power lines as those may cause power failure and damage to electrical systems.
In case of emergency or electrical hazards, you can notify through MEA Smart Life Application or contact MEA Call Center 1130, anytime around the clock.
